Shakira In "The Best Of MTV Unplugged"

Artists like Ricky Martin, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Cafe Tacuba, Mana, Alejandro Sanz, Shakira, Shania Twain and Maldita Vecindad, among others, participate in the album "The Best Of MTV Unplugged", which was presented the day before in this city.

Others artists participating in the album: Charlie Garcia, Los Tres, El Tri, Lenine and Julieta Venegas, Caifanes, Mice Parana, La Ley and Ely Guerra, Aterciopelados, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Diego Torres and Santa Sabina.

During the presentation of this album on the Mega Pantalla del Papalote Museo del Niño, Manuel Cuevas, director of sales for the record company Sony-BMG, said it was eight years of gestation of the product, which includes two CDs and a DVD.

"There are over 14 and 15 years of performances made by MTV Unplugged, but we had to seek approvals from other record labels to include their artists, because the talent is 50 percent of this company," said Cuevas.

He commented that for the launch of this production they mastered the sounds, as well as some images, to achieve a record collection, so the public can enjoy artists of international stature.

The television program "MTV Unplugged" is famous for their outstanding and talented guests who were presented in different transmissions, and succeeded unique versions of its greatest successes in acoustic concerts.
