ROCK IN RIO CAN BE VIEWED THROUGH THE SPANISH TELEVISION

We'll be able to listen to the Rock In Rio Concert on Cadena 100 from Arganda del Rey every day, starting at 22.00

El Canto del Loco, Amy Winehouse, Franz Ferdinand, Carlinhos Brown and Alejandro Sanz are among those that we'll be able to see, this weekend and next in TVE.

TVE will offer, in La 2, the World Stage Festival Rock in Rio-Madrid concerts, to be held from June 27 to July 6 in the City of Rock in Arganda del Rey. TVE, as the official television of this event, will broadcast the largest music show, leisure and entertainment, launched in Brazil by Roberto Medina in 1985 and this year is celebrated for the first time in Spain.

On Friday, June 27, TVE La 2 will broadcast, starting at 24.00 hours, the concert by Neil Young.

On Saturday, June 28, La 2 will broadcast, from 20.00 to 02.00, performances by Brazilian artists Ivete Sangalo, Carlinhos Brown, the German quartet Tokyo Hotel and the Spanish group El Canto del Loco, led by Dani Martin.

On Friday, July 4, comes the turn of Welsh rock band Stereophonics, the controversial British singer Amy Winehouse, Jamiroquai, a figure of greater international recognition, and the Colombian singer Shakira will be from 19.30 until 02.00.

The next day, Saturday, July 5, Flemish All-Stars will offer concerts as well, four-Flamenco pop stars as Antonio Carmona, Rosario Flores, Pitingo and La Negra; one of the most Known Spanish duos, Estopa, and Alejandro Sanz, one of our most international artists. The appointment will be from 19.30 to 24.00.

Finally, on Sunday, July 6, from 19.30 until 02.00, will continue in La 2 performances of alternative Mexican rock band Cafe Tacuba, de la banda Scots, led by their vocalist Alex Kapranos, Franz Ferdinand, one of the formations with greater international recognition, the legendary Bob Dylan and Lenny Kravitz, who returns to Spain to present his latest record, It is time for a love revolution.

In addition, between concert and concert, TVE will present reports, interviews and summaries of the Hot Stage concert scene which covers all kinds of musical styles and where Loquillo, Los Delinqüentes and Orishas will be acting, among other artists.

Cadena 100 will also be in Rock in Rio these days. From 5 pm, they'll be connecting every hour to tell us about the festival. At 22.00, from the study they have directly in front of the World Stage, Javi Nieves and Mara Mate will broadcast the best concerts: Manolo Garcia, Tokio Hotel, Jamiroquai, Alejandro Sanz, Franz Ferdinand ...
