PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL DEDICATES A BOOK TO HISPANIC LEGENDS 12610

People en Espanol collected its first book on the professional and humanitarian career of one hundred artists of Hispanic origin who left footprints in the United States with their work and their personality.

The book "Legends in Spanish", which goes on sale in September, includes such popular personalities as Desi Arnaz, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias, Celia Cruz and Shakira, among many others that have opened a way in this country to music and culture with Latin flavor.

The book published by Celebra, a member of Penguin publishing group, contains texts in English and Spanish that explain details of the professional accomplishments achieved by this cast of artists and Hispanics who are illustrated with a photograph taken care of.

"Good things do not come easily, the road is full of traps," said Desiderio Alberto Arnaz (Desi Arnaz), undoubtedly one of Latinos and most successful pioneers in the world of entertainment and television in 50 years on this country, where he triumphed with the "I love Lucy" and its innovative film techniques.

The book also reminds Selena, the "queen" of Tejano music who died in tragic circumstances on March 31, 1995, and Jo Raquel Tejada, better known as Raquel Welch and daughter of Bolivian father and American mother.

"Love is like drinking wine: take a sip is fine, but drunk an entire bottle! Leaves you with tremendous headache," said the Spanish Julio Iglesias, who in 1983 became the first and only singer to receive a disc Diamond Guinness Book of Records for selling more albums in more languages than any other.

This veteran artist is also recalled that since the anonymity involved with numerous charitable causes, an aspect that similarly highlighted in the case of Puerto Rican Ricky Martin.

Martin is considered one of the best "showman" worldwide and was awarded the prizes awarded more important than the music industry in the United States, indicated the book.

In addition, through the foundation that bears his name and created, has helped to combat child trafficking and warn of the presence of sexual predators in the cyber network.

A supportive work being done by the Colombian singer Shakira who achieved success with her foundation "Bare Feet" or "Laundry Service", among others, has hasn't forgotten about the needs of children in Colombia or marginalized americas America.

People En Español, which belongs to Time, was created in 1996 and every issue, which includes news from the world of entertainment and human interest articles and related fashion or beauty, reaches 5.9 million readers, according to the publication.
